TOUR DETAIL

In morning we come to pick you up at the Kullu Airport or at the bus station and drive you to your hotel. Our representatives are there to provide you all the services and soon you’ll be introduced to the bikes and all details about the tour. Go-Pro Cameras on helmets, riding gears, Royal Enfield Bikes, let’s start riding around Manali valley with Adventure activities!

In morning we start riding to the beautiful valley of Manikaran. The small town of Manikran is located in the Parvati Valley between the rivers Beas and Parvati at an altitude of 1760m. Manikaran attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its pilgrim centres and hot springs. According to an old legend, Manikaran is connected with Lord Shiva and his divine consort, Parvati, who lost her ear rings here, which gave birth to hot waters on the bank of Parvati River. Surrounding by mountains and lush greenery, you’ll fully appreciate taking a holy dip in that amazing place.

On this day, we take the road in direction of Rewalsar Lake, known as Tso Pema (Lotus Lake) by Tibetan Buddhists. It is a mid-altitude lake (1360m) located on the mountainside. According to the legend, the lake was created when the king of Mandi tried to burn alive the Guru Padmasambhava, to prevent his daughter Mandarava running off with him. A view of Rewalsar town with lake from the top of surrounding hills, some Hindu Templ es and Buddhist monasteries, makes a majestic panoramic appearance.

We follow our trip in direction of Kangra, the capital of the district with the same name. There you’ll be able to visit some temples, the Wildlife Sanctuary and the famous Kangra Fort built in the 4th century. In addition of its places of interests, the Kangra Valley, sheltered by the sublime Dhauladhar range, is one of the most picturesque valleys of lower Himalayas and offers you an incomparable green and luxuriant landscape. We Continue our ride are reach to Dharamsala.

We will discover on that day Dharamsala, also called the little (Lhassa) because 15 000 Tibetan refugees live there around the 14th Dalai Lama residence. The rest of the day is yours for sightseeing in the city. Its many temples, its lake, its art gallery, Dharamsala has a lot to offer in that field. On the schedule, lots of adventure activities such as temples visits, a hike to the wonderful Bhagsu waterfalls, paragliding or, for the most courageous, an ascent to admire the spectacular view of Himalayan peaks.

After many adventure activities, get ready to hit the road towards the capital of Himachal Pradesh through the beautiful valley of Kullu. Pretty mountain villages, roaring rivers, orchards and terraced fields, thick pine forests and snow-flecked ridges await you. At the end of the afternoon, we transfer you to your hotel. A walk down the Mall, main shopping street of Shimla, and a visit of Christ Church will be organized.

Ancient summer capital of India under the British Empire, Shimla will make you feel like you are in a 60’s British town due to his architecture buildings. Large and growing city with 171,817 inhabitants, Shimla is well known as a hub for India's tourism sector and is among the top 10 preferred entrepreneurial locations in India. Visits, shoppi ng, cultural activities, you will not remain indifferent to that charming city.

From Shimla, we follow our route towards Rohru. This little town of 14,953 inhabitants is located at the bank of Pabbar River and is famous for its apple farms and for trout fishing. Rohru offers you the best view of the valley with its pine trees. The ideal place to have a beer, to fish for trout and spend a relaxing moment near the river. After a pleasant moment head to Narkanda, a gateway to apple country of Himachal Pradesh. Situated at an attitude of 2708m Narkanda offers a spectacular view of the eternal snow ranges, the inviting apple orchards and dense forests. An ideal pace to spend the night.

Our trip continues to Prashar Lake . Gear up for the ride to Prashar Lake! Located at a height of 2730m, the lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated there. With deep blue waters, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and looking down on the fast flowing river Beas, you’ll be captivated by an immense and sumptuous panorama.

After taking pictures of that little piece of heaven, resting soothed at the sound of the ripples of the lake or, for the more intrepid, taking a bath in its fresh and crystalline water, we begin our trip back to Manali.

For our last night a warm farewell with camp fire, barbecue and guitar live show will be organized with Hardev Motors Team.

We hope that you spent an enjoyable trip with us.

End of the tour. In the morning, you are free to do some shopping for the family and friends.
